eLearning has become a more convenient and cost-effective method to enhance professional development. We are proud of our offerings and use of cutting edge technology to create the most dynamic and creative training opportunities possible.

Our courses can be purchased for individual use or in bulk for training an entire agency’s staffs.

On Your Way is a FREE interactive, website to guide youths through the process of identifying their strengths, determining career goals, and making life choices while creating a personal data profile that includes; a list of important people, a resume, medical information and more! The profile is accessible from anywhere by using a password created by the youth. The site is secure and the profile changes as youths alter their information. Working Safe Working Smart eLearning - “Working Safe, Working Smart” is a five-unit training program on workplace safety. The focus of this training is on the interaction between staff and clients or the general public. The training presents an approach for determining safety needs within an agency and identifying a broad outline of areas that might require safety planning. Individual users can purchase WsWs and gain immediate access to the course. Bulk purchases of two or more users can be made and login codes will be provided within 48 hours. Volunteer Advocate Academy - This course was developed by Independent Living Resources through a National Institutes of Health Small Business Innovation Research Grant to assist court appointed special advocates and guardian ad litem volunteers to represent adolescents more effectively. The research to determine the effectiveness of the course was conducted in Summer/Fall 2009 with outstanding results. 

This course includes pre and posttests and ten modules specific to working with teens involved in the child welfare and court systems. Users will receive four hours of interactive state-of-the-art online training and ongoing access to the course as a resource for review, legislative updates, and the latest best practices to working with young people in transition.
